Charging MIFI

I have a car charger for my Motorola Droid; it has the small usb plug to go into the phone to charge the phone on the road. My question is can I use this charger to charge my MiFi 2200 since it also has the small usb plug; or would this damage the MiFi card.

I use the charger from my BB in my car to charge my mifi it works , You can even charge your mif by using this portable unit or run it off of the external battery pack for 10 extra hours.
