Computer doesn't see my MIFI wireless network

I have been using th MiFi 2200 for over 6 months and it has been great. I have two computers and a printer wirelessly connected. I am on a trip to Florida for extended time and my computer doeesn't find my wifi connection. It picks up another secured connection in the area, but not mine. I have had to uninstall and re-install VZ Access Manager and connect via modem in order o get on the internet. Have tried everything. Have removed the network connection and re-added it several times. I get it back occasionally, but then other times cannot connect. Help

is this laptop you are having issues with, one that you used with your mifi back at home?

perhaps you have told the mifi to allow only connections to "wifi G" equipment, and your laptop is only "wifi B" capable?

if so, change the mifi to allow both/either B and/or G and try again?
