Does anyone know if Verizon Wireless is going to make any allowances for data overages as a result of the Hurricane? I had no power in my home and couldn't access my home internet connection. I could charge my phones and Jet Pack at work during the day and then keep in touch with the outside world at night.
I have power and internet restored so my overage is going to get much larger but I still have family with no power and I feel bad for those that have lost so much more than just an internet connection. Would be nice for those people to have one less thing to worry about.

What a nightmare! I didn't see anything on Verizon's Hurrican Sandy page about any allowances; you may want to contact them directly.

Just saw that minute and text overages will be covered in NY Metro and NJ; nothing about data overages, though
