After ten days and 2 fivespots we were finally switched out for a Mifi.  While it was being installed at the store I asked the manager if I needed to be uninstalling the VZAccess that was installed for the 5spot.  She said yes then casually mentioned I would also want to be sure all of the old device drivers (from whatever your were switching from.  We found 2 from an old router and an older verizon wireless modem) were uninstalled as this could cause alot of conflict with the 5spot wi-fi connection issues.  After 5 hours on the phone with tech support trying to get the wifi to work, not one tech support agent even mentioned old drivers and uninstalling them.  After uninstalling those drivers the new Mifi is working beautifully.  It would have been insteresting to see if the 5 spot would have worked after the drivers being uninstalled.  This might be something that Verizon might want to address with their tech people.
