HomeFusion TG790 HBR Admin console repeatedly kicks me out

Hello-  My TG790 Homefusion Broadband Router keeps kicking me out after literally a few seconds..  It will display the status page until you click on something- like port forwarding, advanced etc..  Eventually it says I have exceeded my 5 session limit.  I have tried using 4 different browsers. https:// and http://  Nothing but my laptop connected via wired ethernet directly to the HBR.  Reset the power on the HBR and HBA cantenna numerous times.  Through all this the internet seems to work OK- tho it may be going up and down too..  Status page shows connected and green. All lights are green / normal according to the table in manual... once the 4G was blinking yellow, but that cleared up to blinking green on a subsequent restart.

I was able to get in once long enough to set the "session lifetime" in the HBA advanced panel from 600 seconds to 6000 seconds with no difference.  All I want to do is a simple port forward.  Ideas / similar problem anyone??
