Issues with LED's on mifi

My power light stays solid green anytime the unit is on and plugged into power. The manual says it should be amber to indicate it is charging, but I have never seen an amber light at all. I have checked in the web interface under advanced diagnostics and it shows the battery level and indicates if the unit is charging or not and even when the battery has just 2 bars and is charging it is still solid green. I ran it down once and it did turn red, but I can't find anyway to know when the battery is fully charged without logging into it. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, I've noticed this also. The battery light doesn't show state of charge; it's go/nogo only. And when charging it shows green before full charge is reached.
