I have an HP iPAQ that I recently resurrected with a new battery, but it won't connect with my MiFi hotspot. It will connect to my wifi modem in my house. Any ideas? The iPAQ is a hx2495b model.
Thanks!
Your password type is incompatible with your old laptop. Try lowering or changing your password type on the MiFi, delete your cached passwords on the iPAQ and try again. With the right combination you should be able to get your old laptop connected to the MiFi.
If you cannot see the MiFi on your iPAQ then your default MiFi signal is incompatible. Either attach an external USB wireless adapter so that it can see the B/G/N signal from your MiFi or lower your wireless signal on the MiFi to B/G or lower.
Let us know your MiFi model if you need the specific steps in any of these areas.
