Network extender has stopped working, it worked for the previous year. Now it has a solid magenta light. I would like to get this fixed but according to the things i have read i can't just magic with brilliance. I would appreciate a response from Verizon.

Travel to an area with VZW service and then give VZW a call.  Chances are something is defective and will need to be replaced under the warranty of your device.

Light codes on the NE can be interpreted on page 5 of the User Guide:

WiFi may be WiFi but between my wife and I, we have two iPads, an iPod, and two iPhones. All have the same identical problem. Five devices all with corrupted information? Not likely.
