If you have a newer MiFi 2200 OTA, identified with OTA on the label under the battery, you don't need Access Manager to activate the unit.
Connect via WiFi to the SSID noted on the label, and the WEP password noted on the label, or under the battery as ESN (decimal).
The connect to http://192.168.1.1 password: adminhttp://192.168.1.1<br>password admin<br
I think I used it once as a USB modem on Ubuntu, but now I just use it as a hotspot, OS agnostic.
I do use the USB Modem mode on Windows 7 using the driver that appears on the "drive" when it is connected via USB.
I have not loaded Access Manager on Windows or Linux.

Does verizon have the correct ESN in the Billing Network for your account? Esn will begin with 0911XXXXXXXXXXX
