When I plugged in my new Novatel Wireless Modem for prepaid broadband the software installed but the VZaccess manager doesn't detect the modem.
Any clues?

After the restart, if it's not showing then unplug the device and remove it from the Control Panel>Phone and Modems>Modems (tab) . Reinsert device, open VZAccess. If it's still not recognized, ensure lights on modem are lit and Click on "Detect Device">USB Modem>Start.
This should do it.
Forgot to ask, are you using Windows XP? If not, which OS are you using including Service Pack updates from Microsoft.
