I am upgrading my phone to a blackberry Curve 8530. This phone has Wi FI. My question is, would you still have to have a package from Verizon for internet. Or does this Wi Fi work like my laptop does. For we have a router in the house that I would be able to get internet with my phone. So why would I need to have a plan on my phone for the internet? If there is Wi Fi hotspots why would you need a plan for the internet. I am a little confused.
Any help would be helpful.
