Can a Wi-Fi Range Extender, such as a Netgear WN or EX model, be used to extend the wireless signal of a Jetpack device?

Yes, but understand that a wireless repeater is going to negatively impact your internet performance compared to the original signal generated from the Jetpack.  Your WiFi signal strength may be better in a remote area but the throughput of the internet to that device will be greatly diminished.  Wireless repeaters are a great tool but they need more configuration and planning than most users are prepared for.

If you begin to notice performance or connection problems then the first step in the troubleshooting process should be to rule out the wireless repeater and connect directly to the Jetpack.

Thanks for the info. My only other connection is Exede satellite so I'm used to slow performance. I really only need the extended range for one remotely located camera. If I connect the camera to the extender but have everything else using the MiFi directly, will only the camera have the degraded performance?

Thanks
