When I put my Jetpack into my laptop bag, in its own pocket, fully charged, and turned off, take it out a few days later totally drained. The button must get pushed on while traveling. Is there a way to keep it from turning on, unless I want it to?????

Yes, taking the battery out would be a good step to take. If the battery is still draining itself after a few days with no device connected then it is defective and needs to be replaced.
