I have tried everything, my device is not updated to the current firmware, and this program will not open to do it either. Please help get this fixed. It should update it, I have done it before on a different computer, right after a fresh restore.

My 551L connection reliability was so bad I could not complete the firmware download so I took it to my local Verizon phone store. They did the latest (1.48 4/30/2012) upgrade. Do not expect any improvements. This thing remains an unstable piece of junk regardless of the firmware version.
