USB760 keeps getting stuck in 1xRTT

Traveling along, with good EV-RevA coverage, sometimes the modem will get itself stuck in 1xRTT, and not return to 3G/EVDO unless I disconnect. What's wrong here?

Hi.  I understand that you are getting stuck in 1xRTT when you are traveling to other areas and it does not go to 3G/EVDO until you disconnect.   I will be happy to look into this for you.

 

I see you said that it does this sometimes, how long has this been happening?

Are you browsing the web when it does to the 1xRTT or are you just connected when you go through certain areas?

It's traveling through coverage areas. Sometimes it will switch back to EVDO, but many times it'll just stay in 1X with full signal, but leaving EV at -117dbm. Disconnecting causes it to finally get back into EVDO mode.

 

This is the first time, but then again the first time I traveled with it. Normally I am doing something with the data connection, but at times it'll just stuff up on me with little to no activity.
