Used SCS-2U01 was working then stopped.

Bought from Craigslist as new is way too expensive. Got it home and connected it. All blue lights within 15 minutes. Worked for a few weeks and then quit. Powers up fine but cannot get GPS lock even with GPS receiver outdoors using cable. Could this due to not being associated with my account? If so, how do I go about doing this? I called tech support and got absolutely no help.

As I understand it, you need to register the network extender to your postpaid account through your MyVerizon account online. It is possible it was working before because it was still tied to the previous owner's account and they have since deregistered it. If you have a prepaid account, then you can't register the extender to your account.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at the docs provided in the links in the past. I cannot find any info on how to register the device myself. I believe that it has to be taken care of through VZW tech support. Problem is, I have tried this and the tech I talked with had no clue as to what the extender even was. Asked for a next tier tech and was denied. Any other thoughts?
