I just got a 4GLTE Jetpack and significantly increased my data plan, hoping to be able to cut my DSL cord. After a couple of days I am using too much data and will exceed my data usage unless something is done. I have not done any photo or video streaming, only email and internet searches. There are a lot of similar complaints on the websites, but I haven't found anything that clearly and credibly explain what may be going on and how to fix it. I am rethinking getting rid of DSL and going back to my old 2 gig Verizon service.

Verizon DSL is sold and package by speed: 2 Mbps == 2 megabits per second. Verizon Wireless is sold and package by data caps: 2 GB == 2 gigabytes of data.
You significantly increased your data plan by speed, but you handicapped your internet surfing with a data cap that you have never been accustomed to before now. This is why you are exceeding the data limit.
