Verizon Mobile Broadband & the Nintendo Wii

I am wanting to connect my Wii to the internet.  How would I go about doing this with the mobile broadband?  Is it true that I need a router?  Would the MiFi 2200 work?

i have the mifi 2200 (awesome device!) and after going through the setup, it works great with the wii. also works with tivo as well.

I have had success with using the MIFI 2200 with both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS and DSi.  I have used the MIFI 2200 with 3 laptops and the Wii all at the same time without noticing a disruption in service.  I am not sure as to the data usage the Wii will use as I am on an old "unlimited" plan.
