How exciting to travel, RUDSHA38. Having access to internet on the go is important to keep you connected. We have the perfect devices for you here, http://spr.ly/65828esuq. These devices will allow you to connect multiple at a time to be connected to the internet while traveling. You can check out data only plans here, http://spr.ly/65838esuS. If you have active service with us already, you can also add an internet device to your current plan.

I'm not sure this will be the best answer, but one thing I do when using hotspots is to use a VPN when I am in those locations. I have recently shifted to the unlimited data plan because I travel some and need the internet for my work when away from my usual wifi connections. I hope this helps.

Affordable "internet" is one thing. Affordable "streaming" of movies/videos/music is another thing completely.

You can use your smartphones as a hotspot. With Verizon's new unlimited plan, the hotspot would be limited to 3G speeds AFTER you have used 10 GB of data via the hotspot. That will not get you a lot of video streaming if that is what you are looking for.

If you are specifically looking for video streaming, public hot spots would be the way to go. For just "internet" use, 10 GB would probably suffice.
