Wi-Fi is turned off while tethered, and Wi-Fi settings cannot be changed.

My jet pack just updated today and I am unable to access any wi-fi settings. When I click the wi-fi area of the jet pack settings this is what is shown "Wi-Fi is turned off while tethered, and Wi-Fi settings cannot be changed." I have not changed anything and everything was working - until Verizon updated the jetpack ... I hate when Verizon updates stuff ... it never seems to work correctly afterwords ...

Any ideas ?

I’ll assume your Jetpack is the Mifi 6620L since it is the only Jetpack with recently updated firmware. Did you use the Master Reset Button to reset the Jetpack as described on pages 4 and 109 of the User Guide? This is different from Restore to Factory Defaults described on page 110. Use the Master Reset Button with a paper clip held in for 10 seconds to reset the device. That should clear all settings and restore misbehaving functions.

Well blow me down and call me Spanky ... I wish I would have thought of something so easy. Hit the master reset and renamed my network ID ... all devices connected and I have the capability of editing my wi-fi settings ... thanks much for your help ...
