I have seen posts on various sites that say the "test port" is also usable for an external antenna.
1. Will an external antenna connected to this port increase the 4G LTE signal reception?
2. Will the adapter/antenna used with the older USB727 3G modem work?
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
IIRC, YES, the test port is an external antenna port. As for what antenna, the 6620L does 4G LTE meaning a 3G antenna is not appropriate. Perhaps Google can help.

A 3G only antenna will only improve 3G signals. If you happen to be on 4G LTE at the time then your 3G only antenna wont be helping you at all.
