I have the old verison manager still on my computers does this need to be removed and the MIFI unit connected to computer?
The tech at the store said not to do that as it was not necessary.
What do other folks say?

Which MiFi device? The new Samsung and Novatel 4G hotspots cannot use VZ Access Manager, so it doesn't matter if it is installed or not, but there's no reason to keep it.
