The mifi is using a private IP address behind the NAT firewall. You need to either purchase a public IP address or use a VPN setup to remotely access your home network through the mifi or Jetpack.

If your devices get an IP address and have an embedded web page for access, you might be able to use a web browser and the IP address.  Or there may be a device management app for access.  Do the devices' Admin?User Guides have any info on remote access/management?

I realize how important it is to stay connected to technology in your home, TCLIBERTY. I want to make sure the service Verizon Wireless provides is on the right track for your needs. Just to clarify, while you’re home and trying to use the MiFi directly, are you able to browse the internet successfully? What kind of devices are you trying to access remotely? Do those devices offer a web page for remote access?

Thank you

Did you read my previous post? There is no luck. You can't remotely access your home network through the Verizon Wireless NAT firewall without changing your configuration with a public IP address or use a VPN setup.

You had provided that information earlier in the thread. Once I had read it two days ago, I knew you can't do what you want with the equipment you have and the Verizon Wireless NAT firewall.

TCLIBERTY, we can understand wanting to be able to have access to your devices remotely while away from home. Please allow us to further go over the details. I had the opportunity to further investigate the specifications for your Netgear C6300 router. The Netgear C6300 requires a cable broadband internet service, we only offer a wireless connection with our MiFi/ jetpack devices. Also, based on the specifications for your Netgear C6300 we are showing that this router does not offer remote access capabilities. We want to make sure we can provide you the best solution in this matter. Can you please provide us the make/model of your MiFi device along with what type of Verizon devices you are trying to gain remote access to?

To access a MiFi on the Verizon network remotely you need to establish a unique public IP address.  Unique public IPs are not a service provided by Verizon for Jetpacks and other mobile broadband devices for free.  Public IPs are necessary because any incoming traffic to the VZW network will get blocked by the Verizon NAT Firewall configuration.  To an outside viewer all VZW devices have the same IP address so there is no way to directly contact your personal devices unless they reach out of the NAT firewall first.

Known work arounds are as follows:
1. Purchase a static IP address from Verizon

2. Setup and configure a VPN Client and Server connection

3. Terminate with Verizon and switch to a provider that provides free/cheap static IPs

4. Switch to a device that offers a free static IP address such as Internet Installed

As long as your Jetpack sits behind the VZW NAT firewall any attempts to remote access the Jetpack will fail.
