I have been charged overage when the jetpack was not even turned on and my contract is up and I want to cancel. Do I returned the pack to the nearest Verizon store

You can view the data sessions online via MyVerizon under "data usage details" for this mifi http://bit.ly/xB4iTc . Does the times show actual usage when the device was turned off?
