netbook and texting

i was wondering if texting on the netbook is free if i have the 5gb plan

texting on the netbook is just another internet activity and falls within the 5GB limit.  That doesn't mean you can text for free from your cell phone!  :smileyhappy:

so i dont like need a plan to txt like i do with my phone i just use it as part of the 5gb thing?

Yes you need to buy a texting plan,at least I got charged for a bunch of text messages.

If you are utilizing VZAM for text messaging then you will need a text messaging plan or you will pay 20 cents per text message sent/received.  A messenger program (Yahoo, AOL, etc.) falls under your 5GB. plan.
