texting on the netbook is just another internet activity and falls within the 5GB limit. That doesn't mean you can text for free from your cell phone! ![]()

so i dont like need a plan to txt like i do with my phone i just use it as part of the 5gb thing?

Yes you need to buy a texting plan,at least I got charged for a bunch of text messages.

If you are utilizing VZAM for text messaging then you will need a text messaging plan or you will pay 20 cents per text message sent/received. A messenger program (Yahoo, AOL, etc.) falls under your 5GB. plan.
