Transfer Service not emailing receiver

My line is with my mom's account. I have been made an account owner along with my mom. I selected Transfer of Service to move my line to my wife's account. I filled out the information for the receiving account with email address. There is now a Pending Transfer that is waiting for my wife to accept the request. No email is being sent to my wife (the email address I put in).

There are outages with some email clients as of today, as my email account was unable to receive any incoming emails this afternoon, and then I got logged out and couldn't log back in.  Check Downdetector for updates.

If your line is postpaid but your wife's account is prepaid, then the problem is that postpaid and prepaid lines are 2 different things and kept in completely different parts of Verizon's system.  One account cannot have both types of lines in it because even the login to My Verizon is under different URLs for each type of line.  If this is what's going on, one of you will have to convert your line to the other kind of service before a line can be added to a group account.
