Why does any device connected to my verizon internet report as a zip code in detroit?
I'm having problems streaming certain platforms because the internet provider shows an address accross the state, somewhere I've never lived.
It's because the hub which your data requests are going to is located in Detroit. I've seen this issue reported every so often, and it's one of the limitations of the 5G Home Internet service; the IP address floats around. In some instances, data can even be routed to some hub out of state.
