2.2 and Missed Call Notification LED Light

Does android 2.2 make the led light go off when you have a missed call? In 2.1, it didn't so I had to use the missed call app for it to do that. If it does, then I won't need the missed call app anymore but just wondering.

It did work on 2.1
2.2 is the same... it blicks green.
