I got the Droid 2, and have had it about a week now. I've figured many things out just by playing with the phone and coming to these blogs for help. However, there are 2 things that I am not sure about so I thought I'd ask here.
1. Today, for some unknown reason my preset ringtone switched to some generic ringtone. When I went into my music it wouldn't play any songs and the message :Error this file is not supported (something like that) popped up. However, when I powered my phone off for a few minutes and then turned it back on, it worked fine. Anyone know why this may have happened and how to avoid this in the future?
2. How do you delete emails from the phone only and not completely from your inbox? I accidentally erased some on my phone and when I checked online they were nowhere to be found- not even in the trash folder!
Any help to tweak these issues is greatly appreciated.
I can say that I am really liking this phone so far. I have Sync in my car and the phone connected easily, and also started to play the music from my phone which I think is pretty cool. At first, it only played about 6 songs and repeated them, but after playing with the phone and settings for awhile I think I figured out how to get all the music to play in order.

I can't answer your first question because that has never happened to me.
For your email question - what email client are you using gmail, yahoo, standard email app, etc?
I signed up for gmail (because you had to) but my primary email account is through Yahoo. I don't have any specific email apps as I don't know which ones are useful. I'm still navigating through the apps.
