2G limit for Droid 2 hot spot

The Droid is new to me, and my question is regarding the hot spot.  I have it connected, and my lap top is working on the wifi connection, so that's all great.  I would like to know how I find out when I'm approaching my 2G limit and what I'm charged after that.  I downloaded the My Verizon app, but I don't see it in the usage or anything on there.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is a widget you can add to check usage.

Longpress on the homescreen>widget>data usage widget.

You can also check your usage through your My Verizon online account. Once you sign in, click my usage and you will see your usage for your device and also usage for your mobile hotspot.
