Does anybody know if the X is going to get it or if it is even possible?

Honeycomb is tablet exclusive but there is still Android 2.3 which is likely to come to the Droid X.  If you think about it the original Droid got it's second update almost a year after it's original release.  So it's likely the Droid X which has outsold the original Droid by leaps and bounds would get the same 2 O/S update treatment

It is possible but no official report has been released to say it will happen..   To be honest, I am not holding my breath because of all the new devices about to hit the market, I really dont think that the Droid X will be at the top of the list to get this update..

I had read on one of the droid forums that the droid x is not going to be supported much longer since the droid x2 is coming out mid year.

That sounds about right on how things is going to go with Droid X getting any more updates...

Well, seeing as this is taken directly from the Google press release:

"Android Honeycomb, the first Android OS designed specifically for tablets."

I'm going to venture a guess that it will not be coming to any smartphones to include the Droid X.
