3G Mobile Hotspot

I was just wondering if it costs me anything extra to use the 3G Mobile Hotspot function on my phone.  I guess I thought it didn't since it didn't say so when I tried it, and I'm already paying a decent amount for phone and data packages.  If someone knows, could you please let me know? Thank you much!

For your Mobile Hotspot, you will pay a $20.00 monthly access fee, providing you with 2 GB of service each month. Should you exceed 2 GB, you will be provided an additional GB for only $20.00. That is used up, you will be given another GB, for an additional $20.00 charge, and so on. In addition, a data plan of $29.99 is also required.

I believe it is an extra charge to use a hotspot. If I remember correctly, it's $30 more a month.
