I have 3G Mobile Hotspot on my DroidX and I subscribe the Hotspot service. In general it works fine but I noticed the following issues:
1) I can start the hotspot service, my laptop will get an IP address from it. I have access to internet at this point;
2) I know that my voice calls have to be very short (less that 25 seconds or so) for my internet connection continue to last. However, from time to time, the internet connection just stop working, my laptop still have an IP address from the 3G hotspot service, but I can't reach the internet.
Typically, if I reboot the DriodX and afterwards re-start the hotspot service, the internet connection will work again. But obviously I am hoping there is an easier solution to this problem so I don't have to reboot my phone every time this happens.
