Is anyone else having a problem with 3G dropping out?
Mine does the samething 3 to 4 times a day called verizon and they see nothing wrong but funny they want TOP dollar for service and never believe when to comes to service problems everything is always fine. It has nothing to do with updating for 4G that guy just gave u a line of **bleep**.
I have had this issue since Thanksgiving and Verizon says its not a issue with there network imagine that lol
Yep, happens to some degree every day on mine. I will be simply trying to check my email and it (the 3G) will just "spin" and the up/down arrows for the 3G will just be grayed out -- not moving up or down like a normal data transfer does. I have the Airplane Mode icon set on my home dock to "toggle" Airplane mode on/off ... 99% of the time this kicks the 3G back into working. There is a detailed thread on this issue over on the MOTO forum. Everyone had hoped it would be addressed/fixed with the latest release, which it has not. And I agree with the previous post about 4G ... a line of **** from the VZN employee.
It seems since the last update 3 or 4 days ago, my 3G is always off.
I had the Android version 2.2 since October.
I have to manually click on and check my email accounts for any new emails by clicking refresh button. After this, the 3G is dead again...indicated by the arrows fading to grey.
The wi-fi also does not work. It loses connection every few minutes continously.
Can someone explain what is happening, is the lost of 3G related to the latest update?
Please, I need my 3G! How can I fix this.
Have you checked you power managment settings, it has a option to auto disconnect after a curtian time or time of day?
Check Settings >>> Battery Manager >> Battery Mode
Try Performance Mode that is suppose to disable the power manager..
