3G isnt working and I cannot receive or send picture messages...Anyone else having this problem?

When I try to connect to the web on my Droid 2 it says its not connected and there is no 3G symbol at the top of my phone. I also cannot receive or send picture messages from my phone...Is anyone else having this problem or knows how to fix this?

Are you sure that you have mobile data turned on? And, MMS doesn't work unless you are connected to 3G.

Yes I checked and it was turned on..

I do apologize about the issues you are experiencing with your device and I will be more than happy to assist you with resolving those issues. First step will will take in resolve the issues will be by updating your device.

On your phone, dial *228
Select option 2 when prompted
Listen to be advised that the update was successful
The device will power off and on (if this is not completed automatically, complete is manually)

Once the device is power back, go ahead and check to see if you are able to send and receive picture messages and that your 3G is working properly. If not, here is a link to additional troubleshooting information:

im having the same problem except on a droid x and that didnt work.
