According to the update page that is basically the only thing that was corrected with this update...

Well I just did the update a little while ago. I'll admit the keyboard is very responsive now. The lag seems to be gone.

still 602, did you get a notification, check for update or do an auto-install?
some of you folks could put your location, without letting the cat out of the bag too much, so other folks can see if the upgrade is coming to any regional area/s in particular.

Seemed a little large for just a keyboard fixed. Never had the issue but the keyboard is reacting nicely.

My daughter's download came Friday I think. Mine just came today. Same account, same model phone - go figure.
The keyboard problem was isolated. My daughter, who lives to text, had severe difficulties. I had no problems. My GPS was wacky (as were many), but my daughter's was just fine.

All of these things are pushed in waves, but I'm not exactly sure how that works. In fact, it seems that some people never get these updates pushed to them; they must actually go looking for them.
As an example: GB was pushed out at the end of May, but in June, I was in Morro Bay visiting my Sister-in-law. She had not received anything regarding GB, and was still on Froyo. I directed her in how to look for updates, and she updated to GB.
Now, her daughter (in Berkeley) also has a Droid X. She called me yesterday because she was having some issues with a few apps. Turns out, she was still on Froyo, and had never received any notification of any updates pushed to her phone! Again, I directed her how to look for updates, and her update installed without issue.
And no, neither of them are rooted or power users. Just average smartphone users.

Downloaded early this morning. It is now late afternoon and no problems. My keyboard has always run smoothly and still does. Yes, my fingers are crossed. Why take chances?

Checked for the update last night. It was available and I downloaded it. No problems. Keyboard seems more responsive, but that could be my imagination. I'm in the Rocky Mountain region.

Just installed about 30 minutes ago. Went smooth as silk. Haven't done much with it yet but so far seams ok.
I had to manualy check to get it. I'm in Hawaii.
I prefer to do all my downloading of updates (cuz they're usually huge files) after midnight here in Hawaii. Most of the mainland is sleeping and Hawaii is too. After midnight is when the network is ususally handling it's lightest load. I have a Droid X and it downloaded the 113MB file in less than 5 minutes.

i just saw it & hadn't seen that blurb, "up to 113meg".
i see the 28meg dl in myverizon/usage details on the home pc & see everything that comes down the pipe.
since 605, it shows additional downloads 167kb & 229kb & i've got another notification as we speak.
i'm posting this here so folks can find out where to see, in more detail than the phone, what myverizon shows.

it just pushed to my phone today at lunch....wow they started 9/22 and it is only just NOW catching up to me? Wow....I know its only to fix the keyboard problem, but maybe....just MAYBE....there is a fix included for the radio problem that was never fixed in the last update. One can hope anyway....

Updates to the OS are pushed in "waves" ... you obviously just happened to somehow be in a later group.
