Everytime I call voicemail the screen goes black and I can't enter pin. A real pain to get logged into it. How do I stop the screen
from blacking out so I can input pin?

Did you install any 3rd party launchers? This is a common situation when users set the display to blackout screen once phone connects.. Check your display settings for a option like this and if you have any 3rd party launchers or lock screens check the setting in them also and make sure they are not set to do this.

Ok... 3rd party apps mean like ADW, Launcher Pro or Widget Locker.... I believe these apps have a option for situations like this.

Use the speakerphone and see if the screen blanks out. The there is a sensor that blanks the screen out when you put it close to your face, and it sounds like the sensor is not allowing the screen to relight when taken away from your face.

Hello smartphonestupi,
As always, we appreciate you sharing your concern with the community so we can all assist. As another community member mentioned, does it go blank while in your hand and not up to your ear? If so then this may be a proximity sensor issue. I usually press the volume button or the menu button to illuminate the screen when it is in power save mode while on a call. If you are still having this issue then feel free to send me a private message with your full name & your mobile number. I can contact you as soon as possible to get this resolved.
Thank you...
