9/7?

anyone with a 9/7 shipping date post here with details! or if you have recieved your X or any e-mails from verizon. i ordered mine 8/21 and haven't recieved anything from verizon not even a thank you e-mail or something. quite tempting to call. so anyways! just post here if you had a 9/7 ship date and have recieved any type of information to keep you updated. thanks!!!

9/7 is the correct ship date. Some people have been getting it early and there could be a chance it might come a little bit latter. 9/7 is an estimated ship date so you never know, but it will be around there. I can see waiting is hard for such a great device, check out the accessories also, that is the real seller!

Ordered on 8/19  ... web site tracking say Ship on 9/6  ....  I called VZN to confirm. They told me that it MAY ship on 9/3  - but of course that is the Holiday w/e ... so looks more and more like the DELIVERY will be 9/6 or 9/7  ...

Being patient ...  they say it's a virtue ...

I don't like how they charged my card immediately and then mention how backed up it is after the fact.

@VZWtestMan, It can't ship after 9/7 because i was told it will ship BY 9/7. so that means latest FedEx will pick it up is 9/7 any later and I think ill have my hands on a free device or maybe threaten to go get an iPhone? lol.

I ordered mine on 8/20 and have been repeatedly told it'll arrive on 9/8. However, I'm a little irritated by the fact that someone from NW Ohio, who ordered on 8/21, is receiving their's today. I live in Columbus and would think that mine would have shipped at the same time.

However, I have a question for those of you who have ordered through the corporate store. Are you able to check online for your status? I've tried several times through the online interface, only to receive an error message. I've included my order #, which is 5 digits long, my last name, and I think the correct location # of N093301. Any thoughts?

I ordered mine on 08/21 @ my local verizon store.  I cannot access my order status online, it alway errors out ... the rep told me the 09/07 date was the latest date it would ship and that in most cases phones are shipping early ... i really hope she is right ...

I ordered on 8/19 and my DX is on the truck should have by 7!!!!!! Scott82 I'm in Toledo Ohio so yours should be there by Monday at the latest I would think

I live in San Diego. Ordered mine in-store on Aug. 22nd. They gave me a ship date of Sep. 7th or sooner. I have no e-mail or tracking information yet. Still patiently waiting. I am upgrading from a Blackberry Storm to the Droid X, so you can see my frustration...

Well I ordered online Aug 18, and I still have no word or email about delivery.  Supposed to be delivered Aug. 31.  It's odd that everyone else is getting notified earlier than me, and yet they have a much later ship date.  I mean they usually let you know a few days ahead of your shipping date.  Keeping fingers crossed I get an email in the next 48 hours.  Wish me luck!

I walked into a Verizon store and order on 08/21, ship day is 09/07.  Called customer service yesterday and no movement on my order.  My ability to remain patient is being severly tested .  I want my DX yesterday at least I still have my trust ole D1 to satisfy my DROID addiction

I live in North Carolina ordered mine on 8/20 got the same 9/7 date but thank god I got an e-mail conformation today withtracking info saying it will be here on 8/31 by 4:30 pm can't wait.

I ordered my X in store on 8/21 and received my notification email with tracking number today. Should be delivered on Aug. 31st. I live in Atlanta, GA.

Ordered mine online 8/19 ... original SHIP DATE was 9/6  ....  a week later it changed to 9/3  ....  then just this morning I received the "SHIPPED" email --  arrival 9/1  !!!

Yahoooooo ...  looks like they're coming sooner than the original dates.  YMMV
