APPS on SD lose home screen link

I'm not sure if the following is a bug, or "working as designed"...

 

  • There is a link for app X on my homescreen (or shortcut)
  • I move app X to the sd card (these are not widgets)
  • I then plug in the usb cable and the link disappears (this I understand since the sd is now disconnected)
  • I unplug the usb cable (after releasing drive on win)
  • phone re-accesses the sd card
  • But the home screen link is still missing

I would have thought that the link would of been re-established

Am I missing something?

And btw I did search this before posting, but found multiple answers.

Almost forgot, this is an X2 with GB.

i have only music & pics on the sd card.

Yes, now I only use the sdcard and sdcard-ext for media and data files.

Apparently Blur does not play nice with apps on the SD card.

Besides, the device has more than enough internal m..emory to have to place apps on SD Card
