Ability to hear the other person speaking stops on phone after an hour or so...

I have a Droid Incredible and within the past month it has started doing this thing where I can no longer hear the person I am speaking with on the phone. This happens after we have been talking for an hour or so. Sometimes after about 10-15 seconds it will correct itself, other times I have to hang up and call the person back. This happens using the phone the regular way - holding it to your ear - or using the speaker phone. They can hear me fine, but I cannot hear them at all.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I have seen the same issue when I used the Network Extender because I had a slow download internet speed, any time I was downloading a large file the sound would cut in and out.. Is there any chance you are on a extender or does this happen anywhere?

It happens at my home and I just moved about a month ago - when I lived in Tuscaloosa - it never happened... never had any problems with it at all... but now that I have moved to West Blocton - it happens alot...

What is your reception like at your new location.. Also have you tried changing your network settings to home only to see if connection improves..

I have no idea what "extended network" is - I have never changed any settings on my phone that are network related... it's all factory default at this point..
My reception is good at home... mostly 1x with a few bars - should be able to make a phone call without this happening I would think -

Losing audio is very frustrating. I hate it when my call breaks up. We can definitely help troubleshoot your device. Are there other VZW devices having problems in West Blocton? Please remove and reinsert the battery on your device. Then dial *228 option 1 to update the towers that your device uses. Any better signal strength? Please repost with your results.
