Activating Facebook

So I have been setting up all my accounts and when it comes to Facebook it continuously says, "An error has occurred. Please try again."  Has anyone else experienced this and how do you over ride it?

Check the market to see if there is an update for Facebook app. I have seen that error before and it was caused by the app not being updated.

If you are still experiencing issues I would be glad to assist you with setting up Facebook. Facebook is one of my favorite applications and I am constantly uploading pictures all the time. To get to the root of this problem let me ask a couple of troubleshooting questions. Is the device on WIFI? To check Press Menu>Settings>Wireless and networks> uncheck WIFI. Can you access other applications from the market? Please click on the Social Networking Icon. Do you see your Facebook information there? If you would like a facebook application please download the application from the market. Let me know if that helps, if not I will be happy to try some other things with you.

I have not used the stock app for FB in 1 yr or more, had too many problems with it.  I use Friend Caster Pro, and must say acts and does lots better than the stock app.  I am not pushing for the app in anyway, but my opion is all
