Activation problems

I just got a Droid X in the mail & I can't activate it. I tried doing it online as well, but it didn't work. They said to call customer service, but I'm disabled & I can't talk. Someone please help!

Normally you just have to dial *228 and select #1 to activate, if this does not work you might want to give more information...


1. Is there any errors and what are they.

2. Is this a  new device or a replacement

3. Are you changing from another device

if you have verizon service make sure the old phone is off before 228/1.

 

you also need to enter the phone pass code, which isn't necessarily the same as the one to enter myverizon.
