It's fairly simple --- Connect your Droid to your PC via the USB. After touching connect USB, you can open your folder to view its contents. If you don't have a Music folder on your phone's SD card you can create one. Then, go to your PC's music folder and select the tunes you want to have on your phone. Using the copy and paste commands ( Cntrl C, Cntrl V ) you can add the music to the SD card. When done, disconnect from USB on your Droid the proper way, select the music icon, and you should hear your tunes. As far as automatic sync with Media Player -- I wouldn't trust Windows to get that right.

Hey thanks for the nice comment and the Kudos. I certainly am not any kind of expert but after spending years since the late 80s dealing with the Windows file system the Droid files are just another feisty computer. If I get time tomorrow I'm going to try a Droid sync with my Media Player. I didn't get the phone to play music but if it works I may put a few tunes on it.

Wow. I'm replying to myself. I just attached my Droid to my PC via USB, started Media Player, and VOILA! Vista surprised me by recognizing it as A855, the model number. Started synching right away. So, emmamase2385, if you properly connect AND have the music folder ( which you should as I believe it's per-configured ), Media Player will do the sync.
Note: I remaned my phone to other than A855 -- too sterile for me. ![]()
