Adding Ringtones

I forwarded my ringtones to my new Droid X and there is no way to add them to the ringtone list from the email. You can't even look at the ringtone folder. This phone is not very good at all. My old blackberry was much much better.

Why would you blame the phone if you havent learned the device?  All you have to do is save ringers from email and save under SD Card > Media > Audio > Ringtones and then you can select the ringers from any of the menus on phone that uses the stock ringers list.

As a former Blackberry user, I can tell you that you're pretty much stuck with the BB formats, and you can get used to them. With the Droid X, I think you'll find out that you can customize the device to almost exactly the way you want it. I do miss the BB email, but I was thinking today that my BB was basically just a hand-held email device. The Droid X is a hand-held computer; a mini tablet device.

Maybe the Droid X is not the device for you, but explore everything it has to offer. Keep searching the app market. Read this forum regularly. I've had this phone for almost a month, and I'm still discovering interesting things everyday. Am I 100% satisfied? No. Honestly, my first week or so with the X, I was very disappointed. But it's getting better all the time!
