Aging phone, or problems with 4.0.4?

After 4.04,

- I cannot edit my contacts from facebook by putting phone numbers in alongside the preexisting email

- Battery life seems shorter?

- Pictures take longer to load

- Apps are sketchy, seem to tweak out now and then

All this could not be from the update, I just noticed it within the past couple months. And now my phone is rejecting my charger. It will only charge from my computer...

Any help/ideas to try?

This may not help at all, but is worth a try; did you do a system cache clear after installing ICS?  If not, see if that helps any:

Power down phone

Hold volume up/down & power simultaneously

Use volume down to navigate to 'Recovery', use volume up to select

Should see triangle and exclamation point next to an Android

Press volume up/down simultaneously

Use volume rocker to navigate to 'wipe cache' and use power button to select

Once finished, use volume rocker to navigate to 'reboot system now' and use power button to select

The battery life issue could be related to the phone searching for 4G; you can't manually switch to 3G with ICS, so if you think this could be part of the problem, try downloading/installing LTE On/OFF from Google Play.

Wonder if you need to replace the wall charger?
