All my media and contacts were deleted after installing 2.2

My Droid Incredible phone automatically updated to 2.2 on Wednesday. Today my battery died and when I turned it back on it rebooted on its own and returned to the origianl settings. All my media, contacts and apps are gone. Nothing was saved to my SD card since that was another issue I was having which I obviously didn't resolve in time. The verizon tech could not assist me. Anyone know how I can get my media back. That's the most important to me. Do you think it was a bug with the upgrade?

it sounds like it performed a factory reset after the install (which it should not have done). and, unfortunately...and it kills me to say this....but you won't get that back if it was all on the phones memory. hope you still have it all on your pc :smileysad:

Unfortunately I didn't, so I guess I lost everything. I'm extremely upset especially since it updated on its own. I'm not a happy customer right now. I can never replace those memories.
