I feel like Im going to be the very last Dinc user to get Froyo! Everywhere I read that 2.2 has all ready been rolled out to Dinc users. I just got a replacement yesterday too. Is there others like me waiting for Froyo on their Dinc? Tampa Bay Area Florida.

your replecement does not have 2.2??? vzn has been telling everyone (who is upset with 2.2) that even if they get a replacement, it will have 2.2 already on it.

lucky....that's what the reps were talking about though. they've told others not to bother trying to replace because it will come (they always use refurbs for replacements if you're outside of 30 days) with 2.2. the certified refurbs are just as good as new. my wife and i buy those when we dont have an upgrade because they are about a third to half of the retail price. but they are every bit as good as a brand new one.

And the cost is comparable to having to pay for the monthly insurance and then the deductible. And you can CHOOSE a different phone, you are not tied to what they will offer you as a replacment. And if you make it through the two years without an issue, you have saved the insurance money

agreed. i actually love the refurbs for all of these reason. by this winter you can prolly buy a refurb htc inc for about $250. not bad if you want one and don't have an upgrade. i got my wife the allias II for $110 and was able to use her upgrade to get the inc. seemed silly to use her upgrade on a phone that she would have only saved $60 on when i was able to save $400 by using it.

See? we all don't have complaints! I think it is a great program for those who abuse their phone and don't want the insurance. As I knock on wood for saying that

Software updates on DROID devices will be completed in a phased approach, based on Area and ESN ranges. Not all devices will be updated at once, due to network impacts. The update is still being rolled out.
