This is a continuing problem from the "App won't stop downloading/installing" thread.
I used yellowpages app till it got stuck installing and nothing would stop it. I finally dumped the app but guess what? When I open market it is still there trying to install?! I thought I could re-install and delete again but, no luck there since its already trying to install. Jeezy creezy! Somebody make this thing go away!
And, if the only option is a reset, forget it.

I don't have the Droid so this is a little bit of guesswork.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

The app cannot be uninstalled since its stuck in install mode and has been previously deleted. Also, it cannot be reinstalled since its stuck in install mode with no active buttons. But, thank you for your concern.

OK this is what worked after the yellow pages app stuck on installing, was deleted and, continued trying to install and could not be stopped. I went to seetings>applications>manage apps>market>clear cache. Nothing else worked espescially this-
