Android 2.5?

I have been through my 4th Droid 2 Global in the past 5months. MY previous one had the most recent update. and when i called Tech. Support. they said they were pushing a 2.5. i was just wondering when this was going to be pushed to my device. because i am running 2.2.

4.? ice cream sandwich

There is a Sense 2.5 but their isn't any Android 2.5..., Also Sense 2.5 is only released officially on newer HTC devices.

maybe i miss understood her. But all i know it that there is a newer Version. because i am running 2.2.

we want to know what 2.5 is

"maybe i miss understood her. But all i know it that there is a newer Version. because i am running 2.2." < - that is asking about upgrading to the latest version, which would be gingerbread. maybe the 4.5 system version misheard as 2.5 android? or maybe she said the wrong number

there has been a lack of info about d2g getting gingerbread. it was pulled what 3 weeks ago? some sort of status update would be appreciated.
