What is the latest Android version downloadable for DroidX ? I need to upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3

2.3.3 is ginger bread, 2.3.4 is the latest & greatest.

upgrading to 2.3.3 killed a few phones, others were unscathed.

if you go into settings/about phone (at the bottom) updates, check for updates, unless you already show the one available is 2.3.3.

you can't keep 2.3.3 from downloading but you can select whether or not it will be installed.

if you got the phone 2nd hand, no warranty if 2.3.3 kills the phone.

if the phone's working ok...........whether or not to install the update is your choice.
